a few weeks back i was invited to visit tacoma, washington with travel tacoma, and was so blown away by all the beauty this little town in washington has to offer! tacoma is about forty minutes south of seattle, and definitely has it's own hidden gems throughout the city. thanks to travel tacoma, i was able to experience a ton in just a short period of time. below is a bit of a highlight reel from the trip! next time you're making your way through washington, definitely take a minute or two to stop by the adorable town of tacoma!
first things first, big thanks to hotel murano for the comfiest, coziest stay whilst in tacoma – such a neat hotel with original glass art on each floor and a classic car in the lobby...my kind of hotel!
first stop was a visit to the museum of glass — if you enjoy interesting pieces & modern glass art, this is definitely the place for you!
up next was the tacoma art museum — i'm usually not much of a museum gal, but i loved looking at all the landscape paintings! such a different perspective to see a painting vs. a photo on instagram!
the third stop of the day was a trip to america's car museum — now, i know i just said i'm not a museum gal, but you guys know i LOVE old cars, so this was definitely the highlight of the day for me! :) sooo many classic cars ahhhh
loved all the cute little shops on the historic main street!
such a pretty sunset featuring mount rainier, shot from the city of tacoma!
day two was spent getting up close and personal on a safari with moose, bison, deer, and more at northwest trek wildlife park — this was my first time seeing all of these animals up close, seriously such a neat experience!
oh hey, it's me! stop two of the day was spent at mount rainier national park, only about an hour from the city of tacoma — this is hands down one of the prettiest places i have ever been and probably my favorite spot of the entire trip!
dinner time at crockett's public house consisted of the yummiest artichoke and veggie tacos ever! heart eyes all around!
day three was spent taking it easy, walking around gig harbor, a little coastal town in tacoma — we had a picnic lunch, went kayaking, then ended the day with a waterfront dinner at the tide's tavern. seriously the BEST veggie burger i have ever had. if you're in tacoma, you must come here you must!
day four, the final day! we woke up suuuuuper early and headed out to shoot sunrise at this incredibly beautiful school, which literally looks like something out of harry potter! i really want to come back here and shoot with a model...who's in?! fun fact, this was my first time visiting a high school and being on a high school football field, so cool! #homeschoolerproblems
please enjoy this photo of me chasing my hat (per usual) in front of a little tacoma sign!
thank you again to travel tacoma for inviting me on this trip, i had the best time and can't wait to come back soon!
